Data, purposes and devices

We process account ID, email, language, interests, optional destination, journey collections, route, heading, speed, guide cards, sources, push token, and credit and purchase records to provide the service, account-backed storage, support and security. Balance and statistics may be account-wide, but the beta does not yet hydrate the complete journey history onto another device.

Location and notifications

Location points are collected only during a journey you start. Push messages show neutral text by default; if you explicitly turn off lock-screen privacy, the title and short text may appear. Push never contains coordinates, and aggregated operational statistics do not contain precise routes.

AI and images

Our AWS service first selects the route corridor, place candidates and sources, then sends only what is needed to OpenAI with storage disabled and a pseudonymous safety identifier. In the first beta, licensed images are displayed directly from the external source; we store the URL, licence and attribution but do not copy image files into S3.

Security, retention and deletion

Service data is encrypted in AWS. Choose 30 days, one year or retention until deletion. A minimal non-content journey pointer containing an opaque hash, state and counters remains in the account for idempotency and deduplication. Journey deletion reduces it to a deletion tombstone, which account deletion removes. Outside the deleted account, an irreversible pseudonymous account-deletion marker containing no email, location, route or story remains without a preset expiry to prevent deletion races and recreation of the account or welcome credits.

Purchases and fraud prevention

Store purchases and subscriptions are unavailable in the beta until the renewal, refund and revocation lifecycle is complete. If purchases are enabled later, a pseudonymous anti-fraud and deduplication claim containing a platform-bound transaction hash, one-way owner hash and verified product metadata may be retained for up to 730 days; never a raw token, email, location or payment-card data.

Delete your account

Use the deletion control in the app. You can also email us from the account address; appropriate verification may be required before deletion.
